Kanan Dume – Malibu

Completed in 2022, this is a rebuild of a 6600 sf. home destroyed in the 2018 Woolsey fire. The large flat site is situated on a private bluff overlooking the Pacific ocean. A double height living volume overlooks the back yard entertainment area and pool. A series of expansive glass doors roll into a wall pocket, making a seamless connection to the outdoors. Architectural board form concrete walls are prevalent throughout the first floor. An open stair leads to a bridge overlooking the ocean, living room and courtyard below.
